We recommend Vallejo colors and brushes for painting our products. The following color codes were used to paint the bust of Lord Cardigan. For painting miniatures with acrylics we recommend 'How to Pant Realistic Military Figures' by Lynn Kessler and Don Winar (available from Kalmbach Publishing) and 'Painting Flesh Tones with Acrylics' by Tim Flagstad in Issue #40 Nov/Dec 2003) of Historical Miniature Magazine (refer to Links Section).
We realize that mixing paint is highly subjective and this list should be viewed as a basic guide. We encourage you to experiment!
